Namsay Choeling Resort

Located in Paro on the way to Drukgyel Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang  (monastery) is one of the oldest and sacred  temples in Bhutan, built by the Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo in the 7th century amongst 108 monasteries built within a day.

Square shaped temple in the picture  is the main temple. In the 8th century Guru Rinpoche came here and kept many treasures of the Dharma, precious things and sacred substances. In the 11th century Terton Drumpa preformed the wrathful subjugating mantras of the Razor Scriptures at the temple.
